Erica Sharf Abramson, Esq., WSET Certified

Ms. Abramson is the founder of First Growth Wine Cellars. She grew up on Long Island in NY and received both her BA in Economics, summa cum laude, and her J.D., at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked at various law firms in New York City including: Skadden, Arps; Kaye, Scholer; and Thacher, Proffitt.

After a successful legal career, Ms. Abramson left law to enter the field of Executive Search. She worked in NYC at Elaine P. Dine and Smythe, Masterson & Judd. She spent 3 years in London as the VP head of Legal at A.T. Kearney’s Executive Search Division and then opened the London office of D.S. Wolf, a NY based financial Executive Search firm, where she was head of legal. She then spent many years consulting for D.S. Wolf in New York and San Francisco.

Ms. Abramson has always had a passion for wine, which intensified when she lived in San Francisco. Her desire to follow her dream and work in the wine industry came to fruition after a trip to Bordeaux. After this trip, she enrolled in the world renowned WSET Certification Class and received their certification with Merit. Her association with Revel Custom Wine Cellars, by Wine Cellar Visions, followed as did the establishment of First Growth Wine Cellars.
