Personal Cellar
We will help you stock, restock or maintain (see Managing Services ) your wine cellar. After a careful assessment of your likes, dislikes and budget, we will generate a proposal for you.

For example, if you want to buy 200 bottles, you might want 20% from California, 30% from France, 30% from old world regions and 20% from the new world wine regions. Maybe 70% will be red, and of those, 40% will be Cabernet, 20% Merlot, 10% Syrah and the rest blends. You might have a preference for white or rose, sweet or dessert wines or champagnes or ports. We will discuss in detail, regions and grape varieties, vintages, price and ratings. Based on all of this we will prepare a proposal which will be derived from a variety of our sources to ensure that you get the best wines at the best prices, whether for enjoyment or investment.


Gifts
Have you ever looked for that perfect, unique present for a close friend’s wedding, birth of a child, special Anniversary or ceremonial event? FGWC will help you buy a spectacular wine from a vintage of that special someone’s birth, wedding or significant life event (Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Communion etc.). It is a present that will get better with age, likely increase in value and give them great enjoyment for years to come. Every time the recipient drinks a bottle of this wine, he or she will think of you.

If your goal is to purchase an investment grade wine (IGW) (see Investing Services), FGWC will create a portfolio that will be sent to the recipient each year with the value of the wine, how it compares to other wines of the same vintage and class, which foods to pair the wine with, when to drink and/or sell it etc. While your gift is "maturing", the recipient can also learn a lot in the process. Can you think of a better gift to give someone you care about than a new appreciation or hobby in life!
